The All-Party Parliamentary Pro-Life Group will host a webinar for MPs, MSPs, MLAs and MSs on Tuesday 14 December where they will hear about crisis pregnancy support.

Spanning decades of experience working in crisis pregnancy support, speakers will address the challenges faced by women experiencing unplanned pregnancies, and the practical and emotional support that they make available to women.

The panel will include Dr Mark Houghton, author and Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, who has provided clinical care and support for those facing unplanned pregnancies for over 30 years.

The second guest speaker, Christine Fidler, is a founder of Image and Pregnancy Helpline, which provides support to women with unplanned pregnancies as well as training courses to teach skills in this area, and training on supporting women post-abortion or after they have lost a child. Having worked with clients in these areas for nearly 40 years, Christine will speak from her experience supporting women in crisis situations and facing bereavement.

The webinar’s third speaker, Regan King, is a co-founder and Trustee of Pregnancy Crisis Helpline. He will discuss why he set up the service to provide a safe and confidential place for women to find help when facing an unplanned pregnancy or needing support after abortion.

This meeting will inform your local MP of the important services available in the UK to support women facing crisis pregnancies.
